Chaque don compte. Merci pour votre générosité.
Objectif : CHF 20 000 d’ici le 30 novembre 2026.

NOMAD SOLIDARITY
Fundraiser for Yidé de Foudouk
An unforeseen setback that must not stop our support for the villages of Foudouk
Foudouk is a water point in the middle of the desert in Niger, home to several communities. Since time immemorial, nomads from many tribes have gathered there. The Wodaabe, a people with a pastoral tradition who are herders and farmers, have founded five villages there.
The region experiences dry spells of two to three years, followed by devastating floods during the rainy season. Keeping the herds alive then becomes an emergency. The families’ first concern is to buy food, water, grain, seeds and livestock for breeding, especially for November and December, the harvest season.
This summer, Mokao Doula, founder of the association Yidé de Foudouk, was to spend three months with us, travelling from market to market to sell the Foudouk community’s handicrafts, an essential source of income for the association. Unfortunately, he was unable to obtain his visa.
In Foudouk, families live self-sufficiently and depend above all on their livestock. Without the usual income from handicrafts, an important link in their financial support is missing this year. NOMAD SOLIDARITY is helping by raising funds, and we are therefore launching an exceptional fundraising campaign to fill this gap and continue supporting the community. Every donation counts. Thank you for your generosity.
Goal: CHF 20,000 by 30 November 2026.
