Chers amis,
Je vous écris aujourd’hui avec le cœur rempli d’émotion, pour vous raconter l’histoire d’un jeune homme qui rêve simplement d’avoir un téléphone. Son nom est Sakidu, il a 19 ans et vit dans le petit village de Mahiyanganaya, au Sri Lanka.
Depuis son enfance, Sakidu avait un petit rêve : posséder un téléphone. Pas un téléphone très cher, juste un appareil pour étudier, apprendre, et rester connecté avec le monde.
Il a travaillé très dur pour ses études et a récemment réussi brillamment ses examens O/L. Ce n’était pas facile, mais il a donné le meilleur de lui-même avec l’espoir qu’un jour sa vie s’améliorerait.
Malheureusement, sa famille traverse des difficultés financières, et même un téléphone basique est hors de portée. Alors que la plupart des jeunes de son âge utilisent des smartphones pour apprendre, communiquer et saisir des opportunités, lui n’a pas cette chance.
Chaque jour, ce petit rêve lui semble encore plus précieux. Son anniversaire est le 13 septembre, et recevoir un téléphone, même un téléphone d’occasion, serait pour lui une aide immense. Ce n’est pas seulement un appareil : c’est une porte vers l’éducation, vers le monde, vers un avenir meilleur.

How can I withdraw funds from my Pot?

- Select the desired Pot and click on "Request payment".
- Validate your identity by clicking on "Start verification" (this process only needs to be carried out once per account).
- Fill in your bank details.
- Click on "Request payment" .
- You will receive confirmation by e-mail and payment will be made within 1 to 5 working days, depending on your bank.
