SOS PETS, Whiskey, Kiwi and Salem

I miei tre gatti non sono solo animali: sono la mia casa e la mia famiglia.

Tra qualche mese dovrò trasferire la mia vita dall’altra parte del mondo, in Australia. È una scelta difficile e piena di paure, ma una cosa è certa: non posso e non voglio lasciarli indietro.

Per portarli con me devo affrontare spese molto elevate: vaccinazioni obbligatorie, controlli veterinari, esami, documenti e un viaggio lungo e stressante fatto di più voli e quarantena. Nonostante il mio lavoro, da sola faccio fatica a sostenere tutti questi costi.

Whiskey, Kiwi e Salem mi hanno aiutata a non sentirmi sola e, soprattutto, sono profondamente legati anche tra loro: sono una piccola famiglia che trova forza solo restando insieme. Separarli o dover scegliere chi portare sarebbe un dolore immenso, per me e per loro.

Questa raccolta fondi è un gesto di amore e speranza per permetterci di restare insieme.

My three cats are not just animals: they are my home and my family.

In a few months I will have to move my life to the other side of the world, to Australia. It is a difficult choice, a scary one too, but one thing is certain: I cannot and will not leave them behind.

To bring them with me, I have to face very high expenses: mandatory vaccinations, veterinary checks, tests, paperwork and a long, stressful journey made up of multiple flights and quarantine. Despite having a job, it’s difficult to cover all these costs on my own.

Whiskey, Kiwi, and Salem have helped me not feel alone and, above all, they are deeply bonded to each other as well: they are a small family that finds strength only by staying together. Separating them or having to choose who to bring would cause immense pain, for me and for them.

This fundraiser is an act of love and hope to allow us to stay together.
