Dear Friends,

I am reaching out with a humble request to help a little boy named Shenula Netan, 5 years old, from Dikson Korner, Halgran Oya, Ragala, Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka.

Shenula comes from a very poor family. He has been having repeated health problems, including frequent high fevers and fits. Doctors have advised long term treatment and careful monitoring. His father is a farmer and earns very little. His mother stays at home to care for him, so the family has no second income.

Shenula has just started grade 1 and he loves learning. He is bright, kind, and full of potential, but the family is struggling to cover even the most basic needs, including his monthly medicines and school expenses. They need around 200 dollars each month to manage his medical care and education.

If you are able to donate, even 1 dollar can make a real difference. Your support can help this child stay in school, stay healthy, and grow up with hope.

Je fais appel à votre générosité pour aider un petit garçon de 5 ans nommé Shenula Netan, originaire de Dikson Korner, Halgran Oya, Ragala, Nuwara Eliya, au Sri Lanka.

Shenula vient d'une famille très pauvre. Il souffre de problèmes de santé récurrents, notamment de fortes fièvres et des convulsions fréquentes. Les médecins lui ont prescrit un traitement de longue durée et une surveillance attentive. Son père est agriculteur et gagne très peu. Sa mère reste à la maison pour s'occuper de lui, la famille n'ayant donc aucun autre revenu.

Shenula vient d'entrer en CP et adore apprendre. Il est brillant, gentil et plein de potentiel, mais sa famille peine à subvenir à ses besoins les plus élémentaires, comme ses médicaments mensuels et ses frais de scolarité. Ils ont besoin d'environ 200 dollars par mois pour couvrir ses soins médicaux et son éducation.

Si vous le pouvez, même un dollar peut faire une réelle différence. Votre soutien permettra à cet enfant de rester scolarisé, en bonne santé et de grandir avec espoir.

How do you share the Pot or invite your friends to join in?

On your Pot page, to the right of the illustration image, you'll find a "Share this Pot" block. Copy the link or share it via Whatsapp, e-mail, Facebook or LinkedIn. Make contributions easier with Happy Pot!

What are the different ways of ending a Pot?

Choose the option that suits you best:

Target date: Set an end date for your fundraising. Contributors can make donations up to this specific date. You can change this date at any time to extend your collection. This allows you to plan fundraising for events or projects with a fixed deadline.
The Pot never ends: Keep your Pot open indefinitely, ideal for ongoing or long-term collections. Happy Pot adapts to your needs! This choice is particularly suitable for ongoing or long-term Pot raising, offering maximum flexibility for receiving donations at any time. You can request partial refunds of Pots collected at any time using your administration space, while keeping your Pot active.

Can I request several bank transfers without closing the Pot ?

Yes, at any time you can request partial or full payment of your Happy Pot balance without having to close the Pot.

How can I withdraw funds from my Pot?

To request payment of the balance (partial or full) of your Pot, follow these simple steps:

Log in to your account.
Click on "My Pots".
Select the desired Pot and click on "Request payment".
Validate your identity by clicking on "Start verification" (this process only needs to be carried out once per account).
Fill in your bank details.
Click on "Request payment" .
You will receive confirmation by e-mail and payment will be made within 1 to 5 working days, depending on your bank.
