Dear Sir / Madam,
My name is Krishani Wijeratne, a Sri Lankan citizen living alone after the passing away of my parents. I am writing respectfully with requesting a financial assistance for the urgent repair of my home, which has now reached a dangerous condition due to severe damage sir / madam.
The house I live in is old and has deteriorated over time, especially the roof structure. The recent heavy rainfall in Sri Lanka worsened the situation, causing severe leaks, weakening the wooden beams, and creating a real risk of collapse. As an unmarried woman with no family support, this situation has placed me under great emotional and physical stress. If the roof collapses, I will have no other place to live.
According to repair estimates, the total cost required to restore the roof and ensure safety is approximately CHF 1400. This includes roofing materials, labour, wood replacement, waterproofing, and essential safety repairs. Unfortunately, I do not have the financial ability to cover these costs on my own.
I am reaching out to your respected organization because I truly believe that humanitarian institutions have the power to restore dignity, safety, and hope to people facing hardship sir / madam. Any support you provide will be used solely for the repair work, and I will gladly share receipts, progress updates, and photographs for transparency.
Your assistance will help me protect my only home and allow me to live safely without fear of collapse during future rains.

- Validate your identity by clicking on "Start verification" (this process only needs to be carried out once per account).
- Fill in your bank details.
- Click on "Request payment" .
- You will receive confirmation by e-mail and payment will be made within 1 to 5 working days, depending on your bank.
