Appeal for Housing and Family Support
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter with a humble request for your kind assistance. My name is Rashmi Madusani Nuwarapakse, and I currently live in the Kandy area of Sri Lanka. I am a mother of two young children who depend entirely on me for their safety and wellbeing. Our family has been going through a very difficult period, and I am reaching out in the hope that you might be able to help us rebuild our lives.
Our home, which has sheltered us for years, is now in a very weak and dangerous condition. The walls and roof are severely damaged and could collapse at any time, especially during the heavy rains. I am deeply worried for the safety of my children, as we have no proper place to live if our house falls down. Despite my best efforts, I do not have the financial ability to repair or rebuild it.
My husband, who used to work to support our family, is currently suffering from poor health and is unable to engage in regular employment. This situation has placed an unbearable financial and emotional burden on our family. We are struggling to cover even our daily expenses, including food, medicine, and schooling for our children.
I am kindly requesting your support to help us build or repair our house, so that my children can have a safe place to live and study. Even a small contribution or guidance on how we could receive housing assistance would make a huge difference in our lives. My only wish is to provide my children with a stable and secure home where they can grow up without fear.
We have great faith that compassionate people like you can bring hope to families in need. Your generosity would not only give us shelter but also restore our dignity and peace of mind. I will always be deeply grateful for any form of assistance you can offer.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read my appeal. May God bless you abundantly for your kindness and generosity.
Yours faithfully,
Rashmi Madusani Nuwarapakse
Kandy, Sri Lanka
