FAQ

We are writing this letter at one of the most difficult and heartbreaking moments of our lives. We are a very simple, low-income family who has always tried to survive through hard work and honesty. For many years, with the little income we earned, we managed our daily meals and lived peacefully under a small house that gave us shelter and safety. That small house was our only refuge.

However, during a recent period of severe weather, heavy rain and strong winds caused an unexpected disaster. Four large trees standing above our house suddenly collapsed during the storm. The moment those trees fell was terrifying, and it felt as if we were facing death itself. The sound, the fear, and the helplessness of that moment are still deeply engraved in our hearts.

By sheer luck, no member of our family lost their life. But unfortunately, our house was completely destroyed. The roof collapsed, the walls were severely damaged and cracked, and the house became unsafe and impossible to live in. Most painfully, our toilet was completely destroyed. Today, we are left without even the most basic facilities that every human being deserves.

Whenever it rains, water flows into the house. The floor becomes wet, water leaks through the broken walls, and at night we live in constant fear. Our children cry in fear, while the adults silently shed tears. Every moment, we live with the fear that another tree might fall or that the remaining structure might collapse further.

Due to the extent of the damage, repairing the house is not an option. The house needs to be rebuilt completely. Without a strong roof, solid walls, and a usable toilet, living with dignity and safety has become impossible for our family. This situation has caused us immense physical, emotional, and mental suffering.

Our daily income is barely enough to cover food and basic medical needs. Under such circumstances, finding the money required to rebuild a house is far beyond our ability. Removing the fallen trees, preparing the land, constructing new walls, building a roof, and rebuilding the toilet all require significant financial resources. Sadly, we do not have the means to do this on our own.

We are not a family that has ever lived by depending on others. We have always tried to stand on our own feet and live through our own hard work. But after this disaster, we have been left completely helpless. Today, we are not asking for a luxury house. We are only asking for a small, safe home where we can live without fear of rain or collapse.

That is why we humbly and sincerely request help from kind-hearted people. Even a small contribution from you can help us rebuild our home and give our family a chance to start life again. A safe roof over our heads, a secure place for our children to sleep at night, and basic sanitation facilities are all we are asking for.

Your kindness and compassion can truly change our future. Today, we are not only without a home, but also with broken hopes and heavy hearts. Your support can help us rebuild not only a house, but also our dignity and our lives.

We still hold on to hope that someone, somewhere, will hear our desperate plea and extend a helping hand to our family during this painful time.
