A birthday wish for my little sister – from my heart to yours

My little sister is the light of my life. She’s the kind of person who finds joy in the smallest things, a handwritten note, a warm hug, a kind word. She never asks for much, even when she deserves the world. But this year, as her birthday approaches, my heart aches knowing I can’t give her the celebration she deserves.

Life has been tough on us lately. Financial struggles have made even the basics hard to come by, and the idea of making her birthday special feels impossible. But she doesn’t know that. She still smiles, still dreams, still believes in the goodness of the world. And I want, more than anything, to show her that she’s right, that love and kindness still exist, even in difficult times.
