FAQ

I am a very poor young girl. I am still studying, and I am facing many financial difficulties. I live in a very underprivileged area of Sri Lanka.

My family is living under a heavy burden of debt. We have no source of income to survive. We only own a small piece of land, but it is not suitable for cultivation. My brother has even attempted suicide several times because there was no way to free ourselves from this unbearable debt. The loan we obtained from a bank has also become impossible to repay, and at present, we are suffering greatly with no way out.

I am still pursuing my education, but I cannot bear the suffering of my parents and siblings. I am unable to work and earn an income yet, while my expenses have also become an additional burden to my struggling family. Very soon, we may not even be able to cover our daily expenses.

I am thinking of cultivating the small piece of land we have, in the hope of at least earning a little income. That is all we are left with now.

Therefore, I humbly look forward to financial assistance from compassionate donors to build a better future for my helpless parents, siblings, and also for myself. I wish to cultivate this small plot of land and bring even a little relief to my family. Thank you.
