Seeking Kind Help to Complete My Family’s Shelter
I am writing this with a heart full of hope, reaching out to the kindness of those who believe in helping others build a secure future. I am currently facing a significant challenge in completing the construction of my humble home in Sri Lanka.
For years, I have worked tirelessly to build a safe roof for my family. However, due to the unexpected and severe economic challenges in our country, the rising cost of building materials has brought our construction to a complete halt. Currently, the house is only half completed, leaving us without a proper, safe place to live.
My daily income is barely enough to meet our basic needs such as food and education, and is unable to save for the remaining construction work. The walls are up, but we lack funds for the roof, flooring, and essential plumbing/electricity.
Living in an unfinished structure during the monsoon season is especially difficult, and my only wish is to provide a safe and dry environment for my children to grow up in. I am not looking for luxury, just a basic, completed shelter that we can finally call “home.”
I humbly appeal to your generosity. Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to completing our house. Your kindness is not just a donation; it will be a life-changing gift of safety and dignity for my entire family.

How can I withdraw funds from my Pot?

- Click on "My Pots".
- Select the desired Pot and click on "Request payment".
- Validate your identity by clicking on "Start verification" (this process only needs to be carried out once per account).
- Fill in your bank details.
- Click on "Request payment" .
- You will receive confirmation by e-mail and payment will be made within 1 to 5 working days, depending on your bank.
