On 27.11.2025, due to the Cyclone Ditta, we had a severe waterlogging situation in Lankapura village in Polonnaruwa district of the North Central Province due to the heavy rainfall and the overflowing of the Mahaweli River. As a result, my house, which was built with the little money I earned from farming, became dilapidated. I went to the disaster camp with my paralyzed father, elderly mother, wife and my two small children. When I returned to my house after four days, my clothes, food and shelter had been completely destroyed and the house had become very dilapidated. Since I have financial difficulties to restore my dilapidated house to its original condition, I kindly request you to help me in any way you can. jamesurik154@hotmail.com
