Dear Sir/Madam,
I am W. M. Amila Niroshana Bandara, a 41-year-old father of two children, living in the village of Bulathkohupitiya, in the Kegalle District of Sri Lanka. I am writing this message with deep respect and humility, seeking your kind support for my younger brother, who is in urgent need of heart surgery.
I work as a daily wage laborer, earning around LKR 35,000 to 40,000 per month. With this limited income, I manage the expenses of my two school-going children, our daily food and household needs, and the medical costs of my elderly mother, who is often unwell. Because of these responsibilities, it is extremely difficult for me to save or collect the large amount required for my brother’s treatment.
The heart surgery is scheduled to be performed on November 16, 2025, at Asiri Hospital, Kandy. The estimated cost of the surgery and related expenses is approximately LKR 2,500,000 (two and a half million rupees). Sadly, this amount is far beyond what I can afford.
Therefore, I humbly and sincerely appeal to your kind heart to help us in any way you can. Your generous contribution — no matter how small — will make a huge difference in saving my brother’s life and bringing hope to our family during this difficult time.
