FAQ

My name is Alina Chekhovska. I am a mother of five children, and we live in Ukraine.

Our family includes four daughters and one son: our son is 15 years old, and our daughters are 14, 11, 9, and 8 years old.

I am reaching out because of the war and the critical living conditions our family is currently facing. In our region, electricity is often cut off for 24 - 30 hours at a time. When power is restored, it is usually available only for a few hours, which is not enough even to heat water for basic hygiene needs. Our family is fully dependent on electricity for heating, water supply, and basic daily living. During the cold season, these conditions make everyday life extremely difficult. Without stable electricity, we are unable to properly heat our home or ensure basic comfort and safety for our children.

Due to the security situation and ongoing power outages, local schools are not functioning, and education currently takes place online. Without reliable electricity, it is very difficult for our children to continue their studies from home.

At this time, unfortunately, our family is in need of support to purchase firewood for heating our home, as temperatures have dropped significantly. We also need help to purchase a power station or generator in order to have basic electricity, the ability to heat water, and to allow our children to continue their online education under these circumstances.

Please note that our eldest son is not shown in the photos.

I am ready to provide all necessary supporting documents upon request. If your heart feels moved and a private form of support is more comfortable for you, I can share the details personally in a private message.

Any help would mean a great deal to our family.

As a mother, I sincerely thank you for your time, kindness, and attention to our need.
