Healthcare professionals from around the world are mobilising to support hospitals, deliver essential medical supplies, and reinforce healthcare capacity in an ongoing humanitarian emergency.

This fundraising campaign aims to provide concrete support to the Gaza Medical Mission.

Who is collecting the funds?

This fundraising campaign is carried out by Waves of Freedom (WOFA), a Switzerland-based humanitarian association.

Funds are collected by WOFA and fully allocated to supporting the Gaza Medical Mission.

WOFA provides the administrative and financial framework required to ensure transparent, accountable, and compliant management of donated funds.

About the Gaza Medical Mission

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 60% of hospitals in Gaza are no longer functional.
United Nations humanitarian agencies report critical shortages of essential medicines, medical supplies, and diagnostic equipment, while local medical teams are operating under extreme conditions.

The Gaza Medical Mission is an international medical initiative aiming to:

• deliver essential medical supplies requested by Gaza’s hospitals,

• support local medical teams through the deployment of qualified healthcare professionals,

• temporarily reinforce existing hospital capacity.

The mission notably relies on a humanitarian maritime route, enabling the delivery of medical supplies based on verified medical needs.

Medical governance

The mission is overseen by an international medical Steering Committee, composed of experienced doctors and healthcare professionals.
This Steering Committee, known as Doctors to Gaza, defines the mission’s medical, ethical, and operational framework.

Use of donations

All financial contributions collected by WOFA are strictly and exclusively used to fund:

• essential medicines (including antibiotics, anaesthetics, and treatments for acute and chronic conditions),

• medical consumables and supplies,

• priority medical equipment requested by hospitals.

Needs are identified in coordination with Palestinian doctors, hospital management teams, and local health organisations.
No purchase is made without a verified medical request.

• neutral

It has no political objective and operates solely to support access to healthcare and save lives.
