Request for Educational Support During a Difficult Time

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to you with great respect and a humble heart, as my family and I are currently facing a very difficult time. I never imagined that I would have to ask for help like this, but our situation has become so hard that I have no other choice.

My father recently had an operation and is still recovering. Because of his health condition, he is unable to work anymore. My mother is doing her best to take care of our family by working as a cleaner. She wakes up very early every day, works long hours, and still tries to make sure my sister and I can continue our studies. Even though she is doing everything she can, what she earns is just enough for our daily living expenses.

I am currently studying at university, and education means everything to me. I believe that with proper education, I can change not only my life but also my family’s future. However, with the situation we are in now, it has become very difficult to continue my studies. On average, I need around LKR 30,000 per month for food, hostel fees, and transportation. Unfortunately, we cannot afford this amount anymore. That amount is approximately equal to 98 USD.

It truly breaks my heart to see my parents struggle so much while I try to focus on my studies. I want to make them proud one day and give them a better life, but for that, I need to continue my education without interruption. That is why I am reaching out to you today — not out of greed, but out of hope.

If you could kindly consider helping me, even in a small way, it would mean more than words can ever express. Your generosity could give me the chance to complete my education and build a future where I can also help others who go through similar struggles.
