Dear Sir/Madam,

Greetings to you with respect and heartfelt sincerity.

My name is Udayakumar, and I am writing to you from Sri Lanka as a father who is going through one of the hardest seasons of his life. I never imagined I would ever have to write a message like this, but today I am left with no other choice but to reach out with a humble heart and hope for kindness.

I am 52 years old, and I have two beloved daughters who mean everything to me. As a father, my greatest dream is to see them educated, strong, and able to live a better life than mine. But sadly, my financial situation has collapsed, and I am now struggling even to manage their basic educational needs.

Every day I wake up with the burden of fear in my heart—wondering how I will pay their school fees, buy their books, uniforms, and provide the support they need to continue studying. It breaks me deeply because they are innocent children with dreams, and they do not deserve to suffer because of my financial weakness.

There are moments I sit quietly and feel tears in my eyes, not because I am lazy or unwilling to work, but because despite all my efforts, I cannot earn enough to support them properly. I feel like a father who is failing, even though I love my daughters more than anything in this world.

I am an honest person and a kind father. I strongly believe in God, and I pray daily, asking the Lord to open a door for my family. Today, I am reaching out to you believing that perhaps God may touch someone’s heart through this message.

What are the different ways of ending a Pot?

Choose the option that suits you best:

Target date: Set an end date for your fundraising. Contributors can make donations up to this specific date. You can change this date at any time to extend your collection. This allows you to plan fundraising for events or projects with a fixed deadline.
The Pot never ends: Keep your Pot open indefinitely, ideal for ongoing or long-term collections. Happy Pot adapts to your needs! This choice is particularly suitable for ongoing or long-term Pot raising, offering maximum flexibility for receiving donations at any time. You can request partial refunds of Pots collected at any time using your administration space, while keeping your Pot active.

Can I request several bank transfers without closing the Pot ?

Yes, at any time you can request partial or full payment of your Happy Pot balance without having to close the Pot.

How can I withdraw funds from my Pot?

To request payment of the balance (partial or full) of your Pot, follow these simple steps:

Log in to your account.
Click on "My Pots".
Select the desired Pot and click on "Request payment".
Validate your identity by clicking on "Start verification" (this process only needs to be carried out once per account).
Fill in your bank details.
Click on "Request payment" .
You will receive confirmation by e-mail and payment will be made within 1 to 5 working days, depending on your bank.
