Sri Lanka experienced a huge nutural disaster from 27-30 th of November , 2025 due to unexpected massive rainfall upto 540mm , where torrential floods , slindslides , breakdown of transportation due to damage to railways and highways have wrecked every facility related to lives. People in some villages were burind by landslides at midnight during sleep. Exploration of deadbodies have become extremely difficult due to many reasons. In some areas , humans , their homes and vehicles were submerged in violent flood waves. In the central part of the country , many people stay in hunger and thirst because they cannot move to find food and water due to loss of electricity , water supply and communication. Some other people in bad health are seeking medicines and even hospital admissions due to deteriorating health. Even relief teams find it difficult to reach many areas due to loss of roads and risk of ongoing landslides.
Need aids to re-build victims' houses and begin their lives from the beggining with furniture , clothes, foods and other essential needs.
