Liebe Mitmenschen, liebe Unterstützerinnen und Unterstützer,

ich wende mich heute mit einer Herzensangelegenheit an Sie. Meine geschätzte Kollegin Elena Andrei befindet sich in einer verzweifelten Lage.

Elena arbeitet im 6-Wochen-Rhythmus als engagierte Pflegerin bei Frau J. D. in Zollikon. Während sie hier alles gibt, um anderen zu helfen, erreichte sie am 18.01.2026 eine Schreckensnachricht: Ihr eigenes Haus in Rumänien stand in Flammen. Unter Schock musste sie aus der Ferne miterleben, wie ihr gesamtes Hab und Gut komplett niederbrannte.

Ihr 17-jähriger Sohn konnte sich im letzten Moment vor den Flammen retten. Er ist körperlich unversehrt, steht aber unter Schock und ist vorübergehend bei einer Gastfamilie untergebracht.

Am 03.02.2026 reist Elena zurück in ihre Heimat. Sie steht vor dem Nichts und weiss momentan nicht, wie und wo sie ihr Leben mit ihrem Sohn wieder aufbauen soll. Um Elena in dieser schweren Zeit einen Neuanfang zu ermöglichen, starte ich diese Spendenaktion. Jeder Beitrag – egal wie klein – hilft direkt dabei, die nötigsten Dinge für den Alltag und den Wiederaufbau zu beschaffen.

Transparenz ist mir wichtig:

Erreichbarkeit: Elena ist noch bis zum 03.02.2026 in Zollikon. Ab ca. 15.03.2026 ist sie wieder in der Schweiz und telefonisch unter +41 77 218 39 38 erreichbar.
Situation: Da Elena keine feste Adresse in der Schweiz hat, besitzt sie hier kein Bankkonto. Sie arbeitet abwechselnd in Rumänien und der Schweiz (Einsatzorte können variieren).

What are the different ways of ending a Pot?

Choose the option that suits you best:

Target date: Set an end date for your fundraising. Contributors can make donations up to this specific date. You can change this date at any time to extend your collection. This allows you to plan fundraising for events or projects with a fixed deadline.
The Pot never ends: Keep your Pot open indefinitely, ideal for ongoing or long-term collections. Happy Pot adapts to your needs! This choice is particularly suitable for ongoing or long-term Pot raising, offering maximum flexibility for receiving donations at any time. You can request partial refunds of Pots collected at any time using your administration space, while keeping your Pot active.

Can I request several bank transfers without closing the Pot ?

Yes, at any time you can request partial or full payment of your Happy Pot balance without having to close the Pot.

How can I withdraw funds from my Pot?

To request payment of the balance (partial or full) of your Pot, follow these simple steps:

Log in to your account.
Click on "My Pots".
Select the desired Pot and click on "Request payment".
Validate your identity by clicking on "Start verification" (this process only needs to be carried out once per account).
Fill in your bank details.
Click on "Request payment" .
You will receive confirmation by e-mail and payment will be made within 1 to 5 working days, depending on your bank.
