Our family is raising funds to save our family home in the Telecentru district of Chisinau, Moldova, and make it safe again for our children and elderly father-in-law.
After my mother-in-law passed away, we moved into this house to take care of my father-in-law. Over time, we discovered serious structural problems caused by groundwater.
The foundation has been weakened, parts of the house have started to settle, and cracks have appeared. Moisture has spread into the living areas, causing dampness and mold. The old sewage system is also failing, creating constant hygiene and odor problems.
We have children living in this home, and we are deeply worried about the health effects of dampness and mold.
We have already replaced the roof at our own expense and started part of the insulation work ourselves. However, the most urgent and costly repairs are still ahead.
We urgently need help to:
- repair and strengthen the damaged foundation
- install proper drainage around the house
- replace the outdated sewage system with a new septic tank and drainage solution
- finish insulating and protecting the walls against moisture
Our goal is CHF 22,500 to help make the house safe, dry, and stable again.
We promise to share regular photo and video updates so everyone can see how the support is being used.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will mean a lot to our family.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support.
