Hello kind friends,
My name is Manuranga, and I am the father of little Hesandu (he is 6 years old now).
We are just an ordinary poor family in Sri Lanka. Right now I am paying a large loan to build our small house, so there is no extra money left to buy a vehicle.
For the past two years, every time we walk or take the bus, Hesandu points at small cars on the road and says:
“Daddy, when I turn 7, will you buy that car for our family? I want us all to go together!”
He has marked January 2, 2026, on the calendar and keeps counting the days.
Every time he sees a Suzuki Alto, WagonR, or Vitz he shouts, “Daddy, that’s the one! That should be our car!”
My wife and I always smile and say “Insha’Allah one day,” but honestly, with the house loan, buying a car feels impossible for us right now.
We found good, safe used cars (2011–2015 models) that can carry our whole family for about LKR 19–23 lakhs (everything included).
We don’t need a fancy or new car — just a simple, reliable family car so Hesandu’s biggest birthday dream can come true.
Every single rupee from this fundraiser will go only toward buying and registering the car.
If we receive extra, we will use it for servicing and petrol so the car stays safe for years.
I promise to record the moment we surprise Hesandu with the keys on his 7th birthday and share the video with every donor — you will see his pure happiness because of your kindness ❤️
Even $5, $10, or $20 makes a big difference.g
