Dear Humble Heart people,

My name is Roshan Wijekoon , and for the past 13 years I have been living and working in Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world. Malawi is often ranked as the fourth poorest country by GDP per capita, according to sources like Focus Economics. More than 70% of the population lives below the international poverty line of just $2.15 a day — a heartbreaking reality made worse by climate change damaging crops, the nation’s heavy reliance on agriculture, and rapid population growth.

These are not statistics I read in a report — they are the lives of the people I meet every day. Children walking long distances barefoot to school, families struggling to find even one meal, and communities surviving without clean water/ basic necessities food, school uniforms, children desk / chairs Roof for the houses etc...

Over the years, I have helped whenever I could, but the needs around me are far greater than what I can manage alone. That is why I am starting a charity project dedicated to supporting vulnerable children, struggling families, and under-resourced communities here in Malawi.

My mission is simple:
To bring hope, dignity, and practical help to those who have none.

But I cannot do this alone.
