A Helping Hand to Keep My Dream Alive…

I’m writing this today to humbly ask for your help.

I am an Uber driver. It’s more than just a job to me; it’s my livelihood and the way I support my family. I take great pride in what I do, but right now, I’m facing a challenge that could take it all away.

The car I drive is rented. The problem is that the owner is moving abroad permanently at the end of this year and has decided to sell it. This means I have to return the car by the 31st of December. After that date, I will be left without a vehicle, and therefore without my job and my only source of income.

You might be thinking, "Why not just rent another car?" The honest truth is, renting is incredibly difficult financially. I have to cover all the running costs myself – the servicing, new tyres, and any repairs. After paying for all that, and then paying the weekly rent on top, there’s barely anything left to provide for my family. It’s a heavy weight on my shoulders.

This is why I believe that if I could just own my own car, the large amount of money I spend on rent could go towards my family's future, giving us some much-needed stability.

I have a long-held dream of one day starting my own small transport service. But to even think about that future, taking this first step – getting a car of my own – is absolutely essential.

To buy a suitable vehicle, I need to raise around $30,000. I know it's a huge amount of money, and for someone like me trying to build a life from scratch, it’s an impossible sum to find on my own.

Any help you could offer, no matter how small, would mean the world to me right now. I promise you all that I will continue to work honestly and with all my heart. And I also make this promise: if my dream comes true, I will one day pay it forward and help someone else who finds themselves in a difficult situation, just as I am now.
