No choice: you go to Brazil and do the paper work there. US people who have done it say it takes 2 to 4 weeks.

It’s not cheap. Flight ticket, food, somewhere to stay for 4 weeks. And you’re a foreigner: you’ll have to pay big. Even if you’re smart, you can’t escape the costs.

Every other way of getting through the red tape is blocked. It’s the only way.

I’m not sick, but I have a cold feeling in my guts. If you’re rich, it’s not a problem. If you’re an ordinary person, you get nasty looks. And nobody cares.

If I don’t get that piece of paper, I’m dead. Slow, sure, administrative death.
