I created this fundraiser to help my friend from Gaza

Their house was bombed and they were displaced three times. The army ordered them to move from Rafah to Khan Yunis, then to Deir al-Balah, then back to Khan Yunis, so they ended up in a small tent in where they sleep on the ground. They lack clean drinking water, which leads to severe stomach pain. The war and siege have made it difficult for them to obtain basic needs such as water, food and clothing.

To make matters worse, they were displaced in the summer and live in a plastic tent that provides little protection from the hot weather. They lack bathroom facilities and can only shower very few times using a bucket due to lack of water. Food, when available, is cooked over firewood, resulting in unhealthy and unpleasant-tasting meals.

They never imagined a life like this. The war took their comfortable home and everything they owned, leaving them suffering on the hardwood floors in this very difficult environment. The family's problems were exacerbated by sleeping on the floor, with no access to the necessary treatments and painkillers.
