Help us build a safe home for our family and my education journey

Hello kind-hearted souls,

My name is S.B. Dahami Tharika Divyanjalee, a university student from Sri Lanka. I’m reaching out with a humble heart, asking for your help during one of the most difficult times of our lives.

Currently, our whole family lives cramped in a single small room, which floods every time it rains. Studying for my university degree has become almost impossible in such conditions. I don’t even own a laptop – I do all my academic work through a phone that my father gave me after taking a loan. He is now struggling every month to pay it back.

My father is unemployed, doing small labor jobs whenever he can, but his health is failing. My younger brother is still in school, and my mother is trying to hold the family together while also managing medical expenses, which are becoming unbearable. Every rupee we get is stretched thin.

Despite all this, my parents sent me to campus with big dreams for my future. I want to study hard, graduate, and help my family rise out of this suffering. But to do that, we urgently need a proper place to live – at least a small house with 2 rooms, where we can live with dignity and where I can study in peace.
