Help me build my kitchen.

Hi everyone,

My name is Suwahas Sandeepa, and I'm reaching out to ask for your help with something very important to my family's health and well-being: building a proper kitchen.

The photo I've shared is of my current kitchen. As you can see, it's very basic and exposed to the outdoors. The roof is made of corrugated metal, and the walls are unfinished brick. We do our best, but it's a daily struggle to cook and prepare food here.

Because it's so open, it's almost impossible to keep the area clean and free from dust, pests, and bad weather. Cooking on the simple stovetop and brick counter is difficult, and we worry about the safety and hygiene of the food we prepare for our family.

We dream of having a small, enclosed kitchen a simple, clean, and safe space where I can cook healthy meals. A real kitchen would mean:

Better Health: We could finally keep our food and cooking area sanitary, protecting our family from illness.

Safety: We wouldn't have to worry about the wind, rain, or dust while cooking.

A Real Home: A proper kitchen would make our house feel more like a home, a place of warmth where we can gather for meals.

We are hardworking, but the cost of building even a simple structure with walls, a proper roof, a sink, and safe counters is just beyond our reach right now.

That's why I'm humbly asking for your support. Any donation, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to building a safe and healthy kitchen for my family. The money raised will go directly to buying materials like cement, bricks, roofing, and basic plumbing.
