Request for Financial Assistance to Repair the Roof of Our House

With utmost respect and humility I am writing to request your kind financial assistance for my family who are living in extremely difficult circumstances in Sri Lanka.

My name is Mudiyandelage Pudit Kumara Herath and I am a father of two children aged 6 and 9 who are both attending school Their education and well-being are my highest priority but providing for their basic needs has become almost impossible

Our family struggles to survive. My wife and I work as daily wage laborers cutting branches in estates earning around LKR 1500 per day. This income is barely enough to cover our children’s school expenses, food, and basic necessities. Despite our hard work, it is not sufficient to secure a safe and stable life for our family

The house we currently live in is very old and unsafe The roof is broken in many places and we fear it may collapse during heavy rain or strong winds. Our children are terrified to sleep at night. They often ask Mom will our house fall down and it breaks my heart to see their fear. Their safety and future are constantly at risk because of this damaged roof.

Therefore with deep humility I am requesting your kind support to repair the roof of our house safely Your assistance would provide our children with a secure home protection and hope for a better future Even a small contribution can make a huge difference in their lives
