Our Home and Livelihood Were Destroyed – Please Help Our Family Survive and Rebuild

We are a small family in Sri Lanka whose lives were completely devastated by the recent storm. In just a single night, everything we worked so hard for was destroyed.

Our home was completely damaged and is no longer safe to live in. The vehicle my husband used for his hire work — our only source of income — was also destroyed. With that loss, we did not only lose property, we lost our livelihood.

We have a young child whose education and daily needs now hang in uncertainty. Providing even basic necessities like food and school-related expenses has become a daily struggle for us. What once was a simple, hardworking life has now turned into a painful fight for survival.

We never imagined we would be in a position where we would have to ask others for help. But today, we are left with no other choice. We are trying to stay strong for our child, but rebuilding from nothing feels impossible without support.
