Helping poor rural women establish vertical farming projects

Hello, we are marginalised women from southern Morocco. We suffer from poverty, unemployment and food shortages due to drought and soil salinity. To overcome these constraints, we decided to establish a women's agricultural cooperative to teach women vertical hydroponic farming techniques. We want to set up our Green Sahara project, which is a vertical hydroponic farming unit where we produce many varieties of vegetables, fruits, medicinal and aromatic plants, thereby achieving food self-sufficiency for ourselves and our families and provide a source of income for poor women through the sale of the cooperative's products in local, national and international markets.

With your support for this project, we will be able to purchase the vertical hydroponic farming system, equip the unit with the necessary lighting and awareness-raising materials, and purchase raw materials.
