This year, something extraordinary is happening in Târgoviște, Romania: a city rich in history will resonate with the timeless beauty of classical music.

We, at Asociația SonoArt, in proud partnership with Artexim, Târgoviște City Hall, and other esteemed cultural institutions, are preparing a world-class symphonic concert under the umbrella of the George Enescu International Festival — one of the most prestigious cultural events in Romania.

🎻 The Evening Round is more than a concert. It is:

• A stage of excellence for 50 passionate young musicians from Romania’s top music schools and conservatories;

• A meeting of generations, where rising talent performs alongside internationally acclaimed artists;

• A cultural gift to the people of Târgoviște — a city we dream to place firmly on Romania’s classical music map.

Presented by: 🎼 Orchestra Simfonică de Tineret Andante
🎻 Soloist violin: Roman Kim – called the “Paganini of the 21st century”
🎻 Soloist cello: Constantin Borodin – laureate of the George Enescu International Competition
🎼 Conductor: Tiberiu Dragoș Oprea

Programme highlights include:

• Wagner – Concert Overture in D minor

• Dvořák – Waldesruhe, Op. 68, No. 5 (Cello Solo)

• Schubert – Symphony No. 8 “Unfinished”

• Beethoven – Violin Concerto in D Major

Organising a concert of this scale involves significant costs:

• Artist fees (soloists, conductor, orchestra)

• Travel, accommodation, and rehearsal space for 40 young performers

• Venue hire, logistics, lighting, and sound
