'CWMUN Emirates 2025' and 'Study mission Geneva 2025' participation

'CWMUN Emirates 2025' is a 'Model United nations' event for high school and university students. It is a conference in accord with the 'Change the world Academy', organized by 'Associazione Diplomatici'. In order to participate students need to pass an interview. Once enrolled students attend the Academy, which includes 12 months of online meetings which prepare the students for the conference. The conference will take place in Abu Dhabi, UAE from 24 to 26 of October 2025. On the conference the students will be able to take the role of a UN delegate and discuss about important topics, such as renewable energy, sustainable living, keeping the environment, topics about the climate, geopolitics and similar. The students will have the chance to meet UN delegates, ministers, presidents etc. including the former US president: Bill Clinton. This event especially develops problem solving abilities of the students, teaches them how to negotiate, improve international connections and find solutions that are for the better good of everyone.

'Study mission Geneva 2025' is an event that will take place in Geneva from 15 to 18 of September 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland. It is organized by the 'Eastwest European Institute'. It is a unique combined training experience designed for students who want to make a change in the international community. This experience will allow participants to understand diplomatic

relations, propose solutions to environmental sustainability in the current geopolitical scenario, and discover the dynamics behind the choices of multinational public actors and private companies through several meetings within their headquarters in Geneva. In September, the participants will engage in an intense study visit of the most essential realities, such as the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, the WTO, WTO, UNECE, and CERN, but also Patek Philippe headquarters, Philip Morris and the University HES-SO. During these visits, we meet with remarkable experts, International Organizations representatives, diplomats, managers, professors, and opinion makers.

About me:

I am Georgi Nikoloski. I have 18 years and I study in the gymnasium in Prilep, North Macedonia. In elementary school I participated in many extracurricular activities like the Ecology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and French sections (student clubs lead by students and teachers). In the gymnasium I have successfully been the secretary of the Student's parliament for a whole year, I am a coordinator of the Eco club for two years already (and will continue to be), and I hold the title School human and children's rights defender (we work in a team of 4 students, for the past year, and will continue to be). These are all activities I am passionate about and have had many great projects. The main work I do is compete in science competitions. Ever since I started elementary school I have been participating in Mathematics, Science, Physics, Chemistry and Biology competitions. I have countless first awards in national competitions in those areas, and I have participated in many national Olympiads (three in Science, five in Physics, three in Chemistry and two in Biology); having great achievements in each. Just this month I participated in the 'NEO Science Olympiad 2025' in New York, USA. That is an international Olympiad in competition with more than 550 students from 41 countries. I participated in the Science category and I have won the FIRST place! This is huge, since there were no other students from my country, and has significance as in the Science field but also in the diplomatic mission. I have travelled a lot and have made many lasting connections. I love to meet new people and discover new cultures. I am ambitious in learning new things and especially because I can learn a lot from different people and from different countries and implement what works best for them, to improve and help people's lives.

The participation fee for the 'CWMUN Emirates 2025' is 2.225 EUR (but after the successful interview I received a grant worth 1000 EUR, so it is 1.225 EUR for me), the return plane ticket from Skopje to Abu Dhabi is around 400 EUR at the time of writing.

The participation fee for the 'Study mission Geneva 2025' is 890 EUR, the return plane ticket from Skopje to Geneva is 300 EUR at the time of writing. So the total would be around 2.800 EUR. Unfortunately there is only breakfast included in both events, so there is need for some money for food...

Since I come from a low-income family, and also a low-income country, I can't afford to participate in these events. However my ambition is greater than the obstacles I face, so I hope you could help me even a little! Thank you so much for the understanding, and I wish you all the best.
