A Humble Request for Help to Save My Life from Prison

I went to the airport on January 29 after renting a vehicle to drop my friend there, because he had to travel to the country where his mother is staying due to her illness.

While we were on the way, the vehicle developed an engine problem and broke down on the highway. After that, somehow I managed to repair the vehicle and started heading toward the airport again.

My friend’s flight was at 6:00 PM, and we needed to be at the airport by at least 4:00 PM to complete the document checking procedures. However, by the time the vehicle was repaired and we started again, it was already around 3:00 PM.

Because my friend was getting late for his flight, I drove the vehicle toward the airport at the maximum speed possible. While we were going, the police followed us and stopped the vehicle. After that, they took us to the police station, saying it was a suspicious vehicle.

We explained to them that we were getting late for a flight. After that, we gave all the money we had with us and sent my friend to the airport in a van. The police kept us detained. They treated us like animals.

They produced both me and the rented vehicle before the court. They allowed the other friend who was with me to go home. The court imposed a fine of LKR 200,000 on me.

On February 10, both the vehicle and I are to be produced before court again.

Please, if there is any kind gentleman or lady who can help me in any possible way to pay the court fine and get the vehicle released, please help me. Otherwise, I will be sent to prison on that day.

If that happens, my entire life will be ruined.
